My Favourite Super Foods!

We have all heard the term superfoods and there are definitely foods that have superior nutrition value over others. For years I have tried to entice people to explore eating beans, lentils and chickpeas otherwise known as Pulses which are power houses of nutrition. These extremely versatile foods can be used everyday in foods you would not expect to add them to.
Not only are they nutrition power houses they are also inexpensive choices!
It is not just Chili where we can enjoy beans! Pulses fit into pretty much every meal or type of food you can imagine!!
Benefits of Pulses:
High in Plant Based Proteins: Blending pulses with whole grain cereals or nuts will provide all essential amino acids to make a high quality protein
High in Fibre: Both Soluble and Insoluble Fibres
Rich in Vitamins and Minerals: iron, potassium, magnesium, zinc, and folate
So What does all this mean?
